Meg Gianesello Career & Technical Education Scholarship

Meg Gianesello, worked in CUSD for 27 years as a teacher and administrator.  As CTE Director from 2002 – 2018, she worked with administrator and CTE teachers to develop relevant and high quality CTE programs accessible to all students.  She advocated for hands-on learning and skills attainment as essential to finding one’s passion and career.  In 2019, Meg was named ACTE National Administrator of the Year.

  • Must have actively participated in a CTE student organization (CTSO)
  • Pursuing a particular field of study CTE related program, (2 or 4 year) or technical / vocational school / program
  • Must have completed two CTE courses in the same program area
  • Preference given to students who have earned industry credentials aligned with their CTE program
  • 500 word essay addressing the following:
    • Describe how CTE impacted your educational experience and career goals?
    • Describe the skills you attained through your CTE coursework experiences
